Testimonials

Recommend highly for Caring Needs

“Penwith care offer an invaluable service. Dana Ambra and her team are providing a helpful caring and practical service in looking after my 94 year old mother. She is able to remain in her own home with the daily visits from familiar people and it is such a relief for us knowing that someone is visiting her if we for one reason or another cannot get there that day.
The carers are always cheerful and pleasant and a pleasure to talk to if there is ever a problem. Dana is always ready to go that extra mile in arranging help. Thank you Penwith Care for all your help. You are very much appreciated and I recommend them for care of your loved ones.”

A truly caring and professional care provider

“ I have nothing but praise and admiration for the care and professionalism display by Dana and her team during the end of life care for my brother in law Lawrence following a long and protracted illness. The care they gave was above and beyond what was previously offered. The difference in care and professionalism really mad a substantial difference to Lawrence and made him feel secure, safe and dignified. He had only had a single care provider before Penwith so was unable to make areal comparison until Penwith arrived. They took the time and care to make sure that Lawrence was correctly fed and hydrated, something which, in my opinion, was very much not in evidence. Although the team only tended for him for a couple of weeks the difference they made was unbelievable. Mandy and Dana made him feel important again and took the time to wash him, his hair and gave him back his dignity. I would recommend this CARE provider to anybody based upon my experience with them and their previous care provider. I have experience working in the NHS so understand what should and should not have been provided and Penwith more than met their obligations in terms of safety, care and patient safeguarding. They did not consistently smoke in the same bedroom as a dying man suffering from emphysema and on oxygen 24 hours a day. They also ensured that straws were available so that Lawrence could actually be given a drink. Not every care agency does this, despite what you may think. ”
